Amazon doesn’t like it when you have multiple seller accounts but
- What if you buy an Amazon business and already have a seller account?
- What if you are involved in multiple FBA businesses as a consultant?
- What if you and your roommate both operate a FBA business from the same IP Address?
Tip #1: Use a VPN
VPN’s help you hide your IP address with a virtual private network that is safe and secure compared to just connecting to your wifi. This will mask your normal IP address and go through the VPN server. It helps keep you secure and if someone else on your IP address also has an amazon account then you’re safe. There are tons of VPNs available but be careful with free VPNs as they can be unreliable and dangerous. Popular VPNs include –
- Express VPN
- Nord VPN
- Private Internet Access
Tip #2: Setup a LLC
There are 2 options when you setup a seller account on Amazon –
Setup an account with your SSN
Setup an account with your LLC and provide your EIN
Tip #3: Use a Burner Phone
I would not recommend ever inputting your real cell phone number into Amazon for many reasons. Amazon is now requiring sellers to have 2 step verification via SMS or phone calls to login into Seller central.
